"HLGuard 1.9 is entering it's final testing phase. Our testers have been working very hard at finding bugs and abusing every aspect of HLGuard's features.

I know I've been restrictive about releasing any news about the coming HLGuard build, but I wanted to keep it under lock and key until we knew what we needed to do for the new build.

What's new?

* Speedhack Detection - No more blocking, more detecting.
* Spinbot detection - Get rid of those blatant aimbotters that spin around like a tornado.

What's old?

* Steambans client - This was removed initially. I reimplemented the new 3.1 build of sbsrv into HLGuard to get back on track with global blacklisting.

The release date of HLGuard 1.9 is still to be decided. But it's not too far into the future."
