请问hlds_l_3111c1_update.tar.gz.md5有什么用？

我在原来的linux 上升级CS server 出现以下错误

[root@csserv]# Using Pentium II Optimised binary.
Auto-restarting the server on crash
Error:/home/halflife/hlds_l/engine_i686.so: undefined symbol: SteamStartValidatingNewValveCDKey
Unable to load engine, image is corrupt.
Add "-debug" to the ./hlds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem

和这个md5有关吗？？？

MD5是文件的验证文件

这个md5应该和sfv的验证道理一样的，防止文件出错，和你的错误没啥关系
